Kick-Start Kids Starters 6+


This course is suitable for complete beginners aged 6+ who have had no formal lessons or are less confident in the water and unable to swim a short distance unaided.

There is a maximum 4 children per class.

Examples of course steps:

Enter pool safely using steps/swivel entry
Blow bubbles with face in the water
Front and back paddle using a woggle for 5 metres.
Push and glide on front and back, using a woggle or float for 5 metres
Perform a star float and roll over
Show treading water action, using a woggle or float
Attempt circle action with legs on back, using a woggle
Demonstrate breaststroke arm action
Demonstrate front crawl and back crawl
