  • Trial lessons are a great way to get a feel for spending time in the water with little one, under instruction by our fab teachers. Our Trial lessons give you a chance to join one of our scheduled lessons and participate in a lesson as if it was a regular lesson. They are perfect for helping you satisify yourself that the level is right for you and little one and a great way to experience First Swim if you're a little anxious about signing up

    Choosing the right level is not an exact science but this guide will give you our recommendation based on your little one’s age and swimming experience!

  • Select 'No' if little one has just had informal play in a pool/ sea.
  • For little ones who regularly go to the pool but perhaps have not had formal lessons then select the 5 - 9 lessons option

    The Bright Start Babies Swim Stage has 8 progressive levels starting from 6 weeks old to approximately 2 years of age. Bright Start Babies Level 1 is a course for babies from 6 weeks of age up to max 15 months of age with no swimming experience

    • Introduction to the pool and swimming, helping baby to adapt to surroundings.

    Sorry! We'd love to help but unfortunately our pool is specially built for younger children and we only provide lessons for children between the age of 6 weeks old to 7 years old.

  • By proceeding to search for available Trial lessons you will need to provide your childs first name and date of birth, as well as read and accept our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct and Assumption of Risk documentation, as well as acknowledge the following:

    As per our policy, any child (including attending siblings) that comes into the premises, must be always under direct adult supervision. Only one adult and the child participating in the parent and child lesson, are allowed in the wet areas. If you are in the pool for a lesson, any siblings under the age of 10 must remain in the coffee shop area and be accompanied by a supervising adult. If a child is found to be unattended, this may result in classes being stopped until the accompanying adult is located. The First Swim team cannot take any responsibility for any child who is left unattended.
